Chief has been a major part of our ranch for a couple years now. We have literally ridden him for every aspect of our daily operations. He is one of the first horses I catch when I go gather cows on the ranch, I can saddle him before daylight, put on the trailer and go to work, no fuss, no hesitation. And no matter how much time he’s had off, he is the same horse, every time without fail. We have had him belly deep in snow, chest deep in water and up to his eyeballs in a predicament and he has never refused or let me down. This horse has a heart of gold and a great big soft kind eye to prove it. We rope on him and he will put down a big stop. He is our main mount when we have colts to snub and gentle and we have ridden him running cattle in and out of the arena at more rodeos then I can count. Traffic, flags, tractors, dogs, fireworks and loud speakers are no problem for Chief. He rides in the arena just as good as he rides on the ranch and trail. He collects and holds a nice frame and is smooth. He travels straight and correct. He is soft in the bridle, neck reins extremely well and works very easily from your feet and legs. Chief stands about 14.3 hands but he is thick made, the guy riding him in the video is 6’2″ and north of 200 lbs. Chief is straight, correct and has absolutely no blemishes, scars or injurys. He is up to date on all vaccinations, worming and farrier care. His last dentist appointment was this summer and he had no issues. He is sound and ready to go.
