A Silver Doll

6 year old registered TWH. She will be 7 at the end of August.

Silver is a sweet, easy to catch, girl who loves people and trail riding. She is 16h with legs for days. She would trail ride all day long if you let her, and with her dreamy gait and canter that feels like you are floating on a cloud, you would be happy to go all day with her! She is one of the rare Walkers who can happily stay with the Quarter horses on the trail. She can easily keep up with other gaited horses, but can slow down and keep pace with the non-gaited crowd. She will lead or follow, but is happier going out with others than alone. She will go alone if asked, she just prefers company. She bathes, trailers, stands for the farrier, has excellent ground manners and loves kids. She has been used in my lesson program and has always taken care of the new riders. She can be ridden bareback in a halter and has a beautiful back and stop. She has been in professional training for approximately 9 months and has hundreds of hours on her. I am looking for her forever home and will be extremely picky about who she goes to. 

Silver has a beautiful flat walk, but does occasionally need to be reminded not to pace. A simple half halt or yielding of the hindquarters puts her right back into her smooth gait. She will occasionally spook at things, however she has never tried to bolt. She just jumps, looks at what startled her and then goes on. She has never offered to buck (though she has crow-hopped once), kick or bite and requires no maintenance. She has been barefoot all her life and has great feet and is an easy keeper.
