Athena is a 10 year old Palomino mare that stands around 15.1hh. She is a very stout built gal and can carry most any size of rider. Athena has an outstanding smooth and natural four-beat gait from 4-12mph she is as smooth as any horse that you will set on and is smooth for any rider. Not only will she gait smooth for any rider, she is also broke for any rider I the family to ride from the smallest to the biggest, youngest to oldest, no experience required, Athena will teach you how to ride! You won’t find a trail that’s too rough or tough for her either, she’ll go through anything you ask her and will keep her rider safe while doing it. Athena walks when climbing the steep hills. She goes patiently and easy down the rocky mountain sides, crosses water, bridges, logs, and anything else that might be in your way. She’s been ridden around dogs and other livestock. Athena gets along with other horses when she’s turned out to pasture. She stands quiet if she’s in her stall, shes good for farrier and easy to handle when loading and unloading from the trailer.
