Everyone meet “Princess Demando,” or as we call her, Millie. Millie is a 3-year-old registered Tennessee Walking Horse mare that stands 15 hands tall. Unfortunately, her pictures don’t do her justice. This mare is shedding off her winter coat to be a beautiful dapple grey color. I’ve actually owned this mare for a while now and did most of her training myself. Millie is very smart, kind, sweet, and so willing to learn. We’ve taken her on camping trips from Kentucky to Tennessee. She does great and is the same anywhere we take her. Millie has a very smooth nice natural 4 beat gait. She is started to neck rein, will side pass both ways, and backs up easily. She will also walk on a loose rein whenever asked. This young mare has experienced more things than most older trail horses. She’s seen it all from rough terrain, muddy areas, bridges, saddlebags, dogs, or livestock. Nothing phases her. She’ll go anywhere you ask her to go. Millie is the same when ridden out alone or in a group. She’ll ride front, middle, or back of the group with no problems. She’s easy to handle, good for farrier, stands to mount, and no problem when trailering. Millie is a nice young mare started the correct way. She has her whole life ahead of her and ready to enjoy that with her new trail partner.
