“Comanche” is a gorgeous 7 yr old Grullo Overo paint gelding. He is out of registered stock and we do have his completed breeders application but the owners had never sent it in, to finish the registration process. The paperwork is all in order, and he is eligible for APHA registration. He stands 14.3 and is very stocky built. His size and conformation is a great combination that allows him to: handle almost all sizes of riders, easier to mount for older riders or riders with medical limitations, and while he is built like a bulldog he is not intimidating for newer or riders that have lost their confidence. Comanche is a phenomenal trail horse and that has been his main job, this far in his life. He has been trail ridden all across the US. We have had a blast camping with him these past couple of months, and he has yet to make a wrong move or disappoint us out on the trail. We have been out camping as long as a week at a time and he stands tied on a picket line or hitch rail with no issues. Rides out good alone and with great with groups of all sizes. He will lead with confidence and has no problem following along and staying in the back. He is not spooky or reactive and is perfectly fine riding with dogs if you like to let yours tag along.
