Pokey is a horse that greets you at the gate every time that he sees you and is willing to wait for your attention. Pokey has been used extensively on the trails and been on overnight camping trips in several states and at numerous state parks. He is confident when ridden alone or is happy anywhere in a group whether he leads or follows. He is sure footed and has a nice ranch walk where he covers ground effortlessly. He has a smooth trot and his lope is like setting in a rocking chair.
